About the School
APIS is a caring, close-knit international school community that nurtures respect, empathy, creativity and independent learning in every student. Key Stage 4, Years 10-11 (Ages 14-16)
Key Stage 4 is an exciting and challenging time for students, who are required to complete their IGCSE examinations by the end of Year 11. In Year 10, students have the opportunity to choose their subjects: alongside the compulsory subjects of English, Mathematics, a Modern Foreign Language, ICT and Physical Education, students select additional subjects according to their individual interests.
In Key Stage 4, students are encouraged to take responsibility, manage their time well and play an active role in shaping the path towards their chosen careers.

Care and Health
The school has a trained, qualified nurse on site to provide first aid to students, along with a fully equipped medical room. Parents are required to complete a health declaration form and to notify the school promptly of any changes to their child's health or contact details.
Fire Safety and Drills
The school takes student safety seriously, with particular attention to fire hazards. Evacuation and fire procedures are posted throughout the school, and everyone on campus, especially in classrooms, must follow the prescribed procedures when the fire alarm sounds. The school conducts regular emergency drills and evacuation practice to ensure that everyone on campus can be evacuated immediately in an emergency.

Pastoral Care

APIS encourages and promotes personal development in many ways.
