周一至周四，小学生的CCA在下午2:45至3:45在校园内举行，中学生的CCA在下午3:10至4:10在校园内举行。周五，小学生的CCA时间为下午12:15至1:15，中学生为下午1:15至2.15。

The CHIS Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) programme is run by school staff, volunteer parents and a wide range of qualified providers across Johor. The school's diverse programme is fun, engaging and educational, and students are strongly encouraged to take part.

From Monday to Thursday, primary CCAs run on campus from 2:45pm to 3:45pm, and secondary CCAs from 3:10pm to 4:10pm. On Fridays, primary CCAs run from 12:15pm to 1:15pm and secondary CCAs from 1:15pm to 2:15pm.

CHIS makes extensive use of digital learning, with a full 1:1 iPad programme across the secondary school that weaves technology deeply into everyday lessons.

The school runs a traditional British-style House System that strengthens cross-year interaction, teamwork and collective pride, alongside a robust whole-child pastoral care and counselling programme.

The school has a dedicated learning support department (TLP) that provides targeted, tiered support for students who need English-language reinforcement (EAL) and those with Special Educational Needs.

The school boasts two auditoriums, a 25-metre competition swimming pool and a beginners' pool, a large library, professional science and computer laboratories, dance and art studios, a multi-purpose sports hall, a running track and athletics field, and a full-size grass football pitch.

The school cafeteria plays an important role in supporting children's healthy growth and building good eating habits. Catering at CHIS is provided by Tyson Catering, a champion of healthy eating, which is committed to serving students high-quality, fresh and nutritionally balanced meals from a diverse menu. Every meal is carefully matched to the nutritional needs of school-age children and contains no pork.

Operationally, the CHIS cafeteria uses a convenient cashless payment system. Each day it serves Western and Asian set meals as well as vegetarian options, along with a wide selection of fresh bread, snacks, baked goods and nutritious drinks to suit every student's preferences.

Students can choose to:

The Board of Governors has agreed to offer scholarships to outstanding external students wishing to join CHIS. The Principal's Scholarship covers 75% of the published tuition fees, while the Merit Scholarship covers 40% of the published tuition fees.

Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate excellence in their approach to learning, as well as those with a high level of talent in areas such as music, the arts and sport.

The awards are open to outstanding students entering Year 7 (secondary entry) or Years 12 and 13 (A-Level entry), giving high-achieving students of exceptional academic accomplishment and character the opportunity to receive a Cambridge education.
